[ Empty Promises ] "And don't say anything you don't mean. This counsel is embedded deep in our traditions. You only make things worse when you lay down a smoke screen of pious talk, saying, 'I'll pray for you,' and never doing it, or saying, 'God be with you,' and not meaning it. You don't make your words true by embellishing them with religious lace. In making your speech sound more religious, it becomes less true. Just say 'yes' and 'no.' When you manipulate words to get your own way, you go wrong. Prayer Requests - I've been dealing with constant headaches for three months. The pain is always there and at times is unbearable. I've been to many doctors and have had mutiple tests; all have found nothing wrong. Right now I am seeing an awesome Christian chiropractor!! please pray that his hands will help heal my headaches. Thank you
- Please pray for the salvation of family members... they are hurting and seeking... Pray that their ears be opened to hear our words and to seek Christ as their refuge.
- Please pray that Pierced Clothing be used the way that it was intended, to spark conversations about Jesus with those that surround us, those who ask us what we're wearing...
- Please pray against loneliness... It is such a terrible thing to watch and an excruciating thing to go through... There are elderly people and widows and orphans and those who have not yet found love.... Please take the time out of your day to help these people as God call us to.
